“Youth Green Compass” is a 24-month European Youth Together project involving five organizations from five countries (Lithuania, Spain, Italy, France and Austria) located in different parts of Europe.
The objectives were set:
1. Prepare young citizens to be able to take part in green initiatives that are focusing on sustainability, environment and the well-being of the citizens, and at the same time helping young citizens to make more conscious everyday choices.
2. Create gamified educational materials in order to strengthen sustainability and environmental awareness in youth leaders and young people.
3. Empower and engage young people for active participation in the framework of the European Green Deal.
4. Build a space for debate and reflection between youth leaders, young people and policy makers from local and national level for developing sustainable solutions relevant for their local communities.
The project starts with the creation of gamified educational materials, followed by different activities directly engaging youth who will contribute to the greener, more inclusive and sustainable Europe by gaining knowledge, expressing their opinions and developing Green Challenges as solutions for their local realities. The products and main results will be collected in digital publications and videos to contribute to their dissemination and multiplication, also thanks to the multiplier events that will be organized in all countries.
Project budget: 144 982 EUR
Timeline: 01/12/2024 – 30/11/2026
