More attention to menstrual health education

The aim of the youth event of the “Empowerment through menstrual health education” project is to provide the youth with specific tools for promoting health and combating menstrual exclusion, also, to raise awareness among young people about exclusion and menstrual health in their home countries, as well as throughout the European Union.

Planned activities:

Day 1: familiarization and integration of participants through participation in team games, exchange of experiences.
Day 2-4: learning what menstrual poverty and menstrual health are during workshops and training, learning
how to create an effective public awareness campaign focused on raising awareness of menstrual poverty and taboos.
Day 5: field trip to the local government and learning about methods to prevent poverty and menstrual taboos.

Dates: 21-28 July, 2024 (including travel days).

Age: 18-29 years old.

Travel expenses up to 100 Eur/person, catering and accommodation are financed by the project.
