Focus group – youth perception of the EUEditorial Team
🔙 Previous week we organized a focus group for youngsters to gather in-depth knowledge about youth perception of the EU and youth active participation in civic and democratic life. The focus group was based on the findings of the first part of the research implemented through the online questionnaire in the period of January and March of 2023 that involved nearly 1000 young people/students aged 18 to 30 years from Lithuania, Italy, Croatia and Portugal.
🔹During the event we aimed to identify main obstacles for youth in becoming more active in civic and democratic life of their community and the EU, also, to explore the youth view of their influence on local/national/European decision making processes and their understanding of those processes. The focus group helped us to gather insight into the perception of influence of political engagement of youth on everyday life of young people.
Focus groups with youth were implemented in Croatia, Italy and Portugal as well. More information about it you can find in the FOCUS GROUP REPORT.
