One more youth project happened in Kaunas!

In an era marked by globalization and rapid digital transformation, the youth in Europe face the challenge of navigating the job market without the essential soft skills demanded by employers. Project Upscale Your Skills“ was implemented to address this issue and to enlighten youth.

15-21st of October, a group of motivated participants gathered in Kaunas to gain skills for better employability, adapting to changing labor market needs and developing entrepreneurship skills. The program of the project included workshops, study visits, guest speakers and group work. Moreover, students were engaged in a pitching competition, emphasizing acquired skills in communication, problem-solving, negotiation, public speaking, and time management. The final day was topped with a Youthpass ceremony.

„Upscale Your Skills“ project has made a substantial impact on the participating youth: tangible results through improved communication skills in both native and English languages, heightened cultural awareness among participants from various European nations, and an increased understanding of soft skills’ importance. The project also provides hands-on experience with digital tools, empowering participants to create business plans, budget effectively, and transform ideas into action through funding.
