Green Compass for Europe | 2nd newsletter
The last 4 months of “Green compass for Europe” project were very productive and intense.
Together with our partners from Greece and Italy we researched sustainable practices for engaging youth in environmental protection and green innovation and sustainable innovation. This resulted in the creation of our booklet of good practices which you can find HERE.
Also, in March our team coordinated 5-days Youth meeting “Youth Going Green” which took place in Nea Makri, Greece and brought together 15 young individuals from Greece, Italy and Lithuania to gain knowledge and generate ideas relating to environmental issues. During the Youth meeting participants were creating an awareness raising activities that are focusing on sustainable living and
climate change topics. This activity provided youth with useful information about sustainable way of living, increased their knowledge about environmental challenges and what they can do in order to positively contribute to the environmental protection.

🍃 Currently all teams are preparing for the World Environmental Week which will be happening in Lithuania, Italy and Greece between 5-11 June, 2023. Three teams will carry out a series of awareness campaigns in their respective local communities. Stay tuned for more information!
