Europe is Female

Europe is Female

Project Description

With Europe is Female we want to shine the spotlight on the stories and lives of important and oftentimes invisible and underrepresented women* in Europe. At the same time we want to empower and enable young European women* to see their own potential, strengthen their competences and understand how they can become active change makers in society. In order to achieve these objectives, approximately 20 young women* from Germany, Lithuania, Croatia and Portugal will get together in different events and co-creation workshops to generate their own artworks underlining and expressing their vision of women* in Europe. In a final vernissage of the results, their artworks and messages will be presented – finally giving actual space to female* experiences and visions. The results will be summarised in a handbook with further suggestions and learnings from the project, created jointly with the participants.

The activities that will be implemented:

  • a kick-of workshop,
  • four co-creation workshops,
  • a vernissage of the artworks,
  • final workshop to evaluate the project, the processes and collect learnings for future collaborations.

20 women* from Germany, Lithuania, Croatia and Portugal will be actively involved throughout all events.

Project partners:
