Call for participants for Youth exchange in COPENHAGEN!

The project “History for the Future” will seek to dig into the common northern European history of the last 75 years and pick essential lessons that are useful for shaping a more united society.

The project will address the last 75 years, so since 1945, as this is the period of very quick development from the WWII until the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, it will focus on challenges that comes from regarding polarization, xenophobia and racism, and how we can learn from previous situations to better unite our local societies and Europe. The project will strengthen cooperation and enhance open minded thinking.

Objectives:
1. To dig into the common northern European history of the last 75 years and pick essential lessons that are useful for shaping a more united society.
2. To share our findings in form of a huge timeline with locals in Copenhagen, discuss the content with them and let them contribute to the timeline.
3. To conclude the learning process and based on this make plans how we ourselves want to act in our everyday life and suggest actions for our NGOs and societies.

In the APV will participate team leader from each country. While in the youth exchange will be 30 persons: a group leader and 4 participants from each country.
